During my current trip to Taiwan, I finally got an Eee PC - a really small subnotebook from Asus. I was curious about this device for weeks, but could not really get hold of one in Germany.

Today I stumbled upon zyb.com, a SyncML service that is available for free with most of its features. Since I got my new Nokia E61, I signed up immediately to test its capacities. It works good, but not perfect. It seems to be able to handle many phone numbers per contact, but only if you chose one of the supported number types. It does for example not synchronise a number labeled Mobile, but it sychronizes Mobile (Home) and Mobile (Work). What is important to me that it can synchronise many entries of the same type - so e. g. two numbers labeled Mobile (Work)were correctly copied to zyb.com.

Just try it - it is free and seems to be an acceptable solution to backup your mobile contacts.
